Motion Support System Using Wires with Servo Brakes

In this project, we have proposed a passive haptic device for supporting the human motion in the fields of sports training and rehabilitation. This system consists of wires with servo brake and supports human motion by displaying force. It is intrinsically safe because it is controlled by servo brakes and the wire type device realizes wide operating rang. We identified effectiveness of the system via a motion support experiments using the intentional force applied to the system by a human.
