Mission
The goal of the Transformative AIR International Research Center is to promote research that utilizes AI and robotics technologies to lead social change, and in particular to establish a system for smoothly implementing international joint research projects with the University of Hong Kong in collaboration with other research departments and companies.
トランスフォーマティブAIR国際研究センターは、社会変革を先導するAI及びロボティクス技術を活用する研究を推進し、特に香港大学との国際共同研究プロジェクトを他研究科・企業等との連携のもとで円滑に実施する体制を構築することを目的としています。
About
本研究センターは、香港大学と東北大学のAI及びロボティクス分野の国際共同研究を推進するもので、主なターゲットは衣類の縫製・ハンドリングに応用可能な産業用ロボットの開発です。
This research center will promote international joint research between the University of Hong Kong and Tohoku University in the fields of AI and robotics, with the main target being the development of industrial robots that can be applied to the garment sewing and handling.
